Prague Airport Tips

Passengers traveling on international flights should check in at the corresponding airline desk at least two hours before their flight leaves.

When you arrive to Prague Airport you will have first to go through immigration, get your luggages (here you, finally get your way out still in the Terminal Building (depending on your flight origin) where one of our representatives will be waiting with a banner with the Bohemia Prague Airport Transfers logo on it so you can clearly identify him/her. After going through passport control you will come to the arrival lobby where you can find the tourist information desk. The English speaking staff will assist you with all your questions you' d like to ask. You can take a free (handy) city map there.

Some useful Tips:
- The maximum weight that each passenger is allowed to carry on international flights is 32 kg. (70 lb.).
- Do not exchange large amounts of money in the airport the rates of exchange offices are very low. Our driver give you an advice or if have time will drive you to the best agent.
- Do not leave your baggage and belongings unattended.
- Attach identification labels to your baggage in clearly visible places, to avoid confusion with other similar-looking bags.
- When check in at the airline front desk have handy your immigration documents to enter or leave Prague

Make sure that our representative has a copy of your reservation key or your payment and you will show your receipt before you get into the car.

Prague Airport Terminals:

- The "NORTH 1" Terminal Inter-Continental flights including flights to the United Kingdom, Ireland, North America (USA, Canada), Middle-East, Asia and Africa.
- The "NORTH 2" Terminal Flights within the EU Schengen Agreement member countries and other European destinations.
- The "SOUTH 1" Terminal and private flights. Official State visits or significant occasions. Charter flights and cargo.
- The "SOUTH 2" Terminal and private flights. Official State visits or significant occasions as well as for charter flights and cargo. In the both terminals the arrival hall and departure hall are next to each other, on the same level.

Start your vacations or business trip relaxed on a comfortable vehicle all for yourself and your group for a reasonable price and have a fun before anyone else.

( Note/caution: When you arrive to Prague Airport you will find a number of taxis offering theirs services ..., those taxis 'll probably charge more compare to our prices.)

Disabled Passangers

Normally a travel agent or an airline is the first point of contact when planning a journey or a flight. Here you will receive all the information you need on support facilities available during your journey. If you require special assistance, your airline will arrange for all the help required at the airport (Prague National Airport Authorityâs Assistance Service: 00420 2 2011 6076 or e-mail to: info@prg.aero). All public areas of the Airport are barrier-free (suitable for wheelchairs). Unfortunately we cannot list all the procedures adopted by individual airlines here. But we do recommend the following approach:
- Inform your doctor about the journey you are planning to make. He or she will point out any possible risks and tell you about courses of action and behaviour.
- Ask your airline if somebody needs to accompany you.
- Clarify you disabled status with the booking organisation and the help that you will require at the departure airport, in the aircraft, at any possible stopovers and at your destination. - Check that you have the necessary medical certificates.
- You should get in touch with your airline again one day before your departure and check that the airline has arranged for your requirements for the flight.

Facilities

The airport has restaurants, VIP lounges, conference and congress rooms, and a post office. Cafees and bars are located at Pier A and Pier B of the North Terminal, near immigration, and a food court is provided between the arrival and departure halls.
In the business lounge upstairs in Terminal 1 there are four PCs with free wired internet access. Plenty of 'powerpoints' around the lounge for laptops. T Mobile wi-fi available for about 180,00 Czech Crowns (approx. 6 Euros) for an hour. You can also book a hotel, hire a car (see below), or rent a mobile phone.

Location

Prague Ruzyne Airport is a modern international airport located on the northwest edge of Prague and around 17 km north of the city. All international flights arrive here. The journey from the airport to the city centre takes around 30 minutes (taxi, transfers companies), or around an hour minutes by public transport (bus).
